Meet Karen Manuel
Founder & Behaviour Analyst at Elevate

For more than 25 years, I have been working in the Niagara Region supporting individuals with disabilities, their families and staff. Providing high quality training to agencies, schools, parents and new staff, as well as consultation and supports in a variety of styles to professionals, parents and caregivers. For nearly all of the last decade, I poured my heart into working directly with children and families in my centre-based ABA practice—a place rooted in trust, growth, and possibility.

There, I wasn’t just a director. I was a listener, a mentor, a builder of bridges between the challenges and the possibilities. I stood beside families through tough moments, hard choices, and instances of real transformation.

But growth nudged me again, telling me, there’s more to do.

That’s how Elevate began.

What I believe:

I believe in seeing the whole person— not just their behaviour, but their fear, their hope, their brilliance.

I believe in data and ethics, while incorporating intuition and softness.

I believe that growth is not always fast, but it is always possible.

How I work:

Client Centred

Every plan is built on your goals and your lived experiences. With a history of engaging, getting to know and supporting the needs of each client, because no one should have to fit in a box.

Ethical Standards

As a Registered Behaviour Analyst, the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts Standards of Professional Conduct are always followed.

Evidenced Based

Rooted in behavioural science, measured with clarity. All strategies and techniques suggested will be based on data, assessment and/or scientific precedence.

Collaborative

You’re not alone—we build support systems that last. Working together to build your village of supports
